BOX OFFICE POLICIES
The Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts (Martin Marietta Center) has mandated that all tickets sold for concerts in their facility be sold exclusively through Ticketmaster.
For Reserved Seating in Meymandi Concert Hall
Individual tickets to our concerts in Meymandi Concert Hall will have to be purchased through Ticketmaster.
Patrons will have to go online to purchase tickets through Ticketmaster, and pay the associated fees. Unfortunately, the Master Chorale has no control over this process or the fees.
Alternatively, tickets will also be available at the Martin Marietta Center Box Office. Tickets purchased in-person through the Martin Marietta Center Box Office will not incur the Ticketmaster fees, but will still include sales tax and facility fees. Their Box Office hours are currently Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm.
We are not able to sell tickets to Meymandi Concert Hall concerts over the phone or from the Master Chorale Box Office.
For General Admission Concerts
Individual tickets to these concerts are processed through Square.
Season Packages are also processed through Square.
These concerts are first come, first served, with no assigned seating.
When should I arrive?
Doors to the house open 30-45 minutes prior to each performance for seating. The box office at the venue opens 45-60 minutes prior to each concert. Seating in the Martin Marietta Center is assigned/reserved. At all other venues, seating is general admission: first come, first serve.
How much are tickets for children?
For performances at the Martin Marietta Center, children under 2 years old get in free. Ages 2 and up will need a ticket.
For our General Admission concerts, children under 5 years old get in free. For ages 5 and up, they will receive a student ticket. Contact Samantha or call our office to receive more information about a student ticket for the General Admission concerts.
We accept Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover as payment for tickets and donations to the North Carolina Master Chorale.
Delivery Options and Conditions
After purchasing tickets online, buyers will receive an email confirmation that will act as their ticket. If you would like physical tickets from the Box Office at the Martin Marietta Center, you may request that at the time of purchase. Physical tickets are not available for our General Admission concerts - your receipt is your ticket, and our Box Office staff will have a list of all ticket buyers.
Will Call Location
Our Will Call tickets are held at the Box Office of our performance venues. Please look for the Will Call sign so that you do not have to wait in the Box Office line. The Box Office and the Will Call locations open one hour prior to each concert.
Refunds and Exchanges
The Master Chorale has a no refund policy for tickets. Should you find you will be unable to attend a performance, subscribers may exchange tickets for alternate subscription performances in the same season. Patrons need only pay the difference in price if the concert to which you are exchanging is more expensive. If you do not want to exchange the tickets, your purchase can be converted to a tax-deductible donation. Tickets must be exchanged or converted at least 24 hours prior to the date of the scheduled performance for which you already have tickets. If an event is cancelled, all patrons will receive a full refund of their purchase.
Are the performances venues accessible?
All venues are handicap accessible with designated handicap parking available. Accessibility information for each venue can be found on our accessibility page. Patrons with special needs, or with any questions about accessibility, should call the Master Chorale office at (919) 301-8022 for assistance.
We offer group discounts for groups of 10-19 (15% off) and 20+ (20% off). Please call the Master Chorale Box Office at (919) 301-8022 or email us no later than 24 hours before a concert to make arrangements for a group purchase. Groups discounts are not available at the door.
