Individual Giving
Individual Donors breathe life into North Carolina Master Chorale’s season, providing critical assistance for the delivery of incredible music to audiences across the Triangle and, through their work with the North Carolina Symphony, across the state.
Individual Donors of North Carolina Master Chorale receive unparalleled access to the Chorale’s life changing music-making. Benefits for individual donors include: recognition in printed programs, prime location seating at performances, and access to exclusive donor/sponsor-only events.
Donations to North Carolina Master Chorale(NCMC), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. It takes many voices to make a vibrant chorus and it takes gifts of all sizes to ensure the success of NCMC. The members of the Chorale, Board Members, and staff join to thank you for your support.

Additional Ways to Give
Make a charitable IRA rollover gift
The IRA Charitable Rollover provision allows individuals who have reached 70 ½ to donate up to $100,000 to charitable organizations directly from their Individual Retirement Account (IRA) without treating the distribution as taxable income. You may give the funds directly to a charity, like NCMC. Such gifts count against the account holder’s required minimum distribution, helping the owner reduce income and taxes owed.
Make a gift of securities
If you have appreciated stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares, you may want to give them rather than a cash gift. The Master Chorale has an account with TD Ameritrade to handle this type of gift. Check with your financial advisor regarding potential benefits to you for this type of gift.
Matching Gifts
Many companies will match their employee's donations, some match 100% of the gift made and others less. There are also companies that will donate money for your volunteer hours. Contact your employer and see if they offer matching gifts.
Donations in Kind
We greatly appreciate donations in-kind such as goods or services.
SECC
NCMC participates in the State Employees Combined Campaign. Employees of the State of North Carolina may contribute to the Master Chorale via payroll deduction. If you are a State employee, please designate #3543 for NCMC to receive your gift.
